- Exercises to strengthen the foundational strokes used to build the letterforms
- An in depth study of the full lower and upper case alphabets
- Detailed analysis of swell placement and line weight
- Multiple variations of lowercase letters to add variety and visual interest
- Composition of words and short quotes
