Founded by Kestrel Montes of INKMETHIS, learncalligraphy.com is a place for quality online calligraphy and engraving learning. Courses are designed and taught by Kestrel as well as vetted professional guest instructors.

ABOUT KESTREL MONTES
Before being a full time calligrapher, Kestrel's formal career was in education. With a master's degree in educational leadership and 14 years of teaching and evaluating teachers, Kestrel now applies her understanding of pedagogy to share her knowledge of calligraphy. Plus, it's sure a lot more fun than teaching Spanish and math!!

Kestrel lives in the Northern California wine country with her husband and business partner, Francisco (plus their kids, Yorki and African Gray). 

ABOUT INKMETHIS
Kestrel and Francisco founded inkmethis in 2014, specializing in luxury calligraphy supplies, custom stamps, and engraved gifts. Francisco is a laser engraver and turns the beautiful calligraphy pen holders. Never actually setting out to be self-employed, they are incredibly thankful for the interest that has been shown in their work and products.
